The Atlantic Ocean is magic and somehow unpredictable. The massive ocean against a sailboat. You have windy days and quiet days, you have huge waves and you have a smooth surface. You will feel pretty small in the middle of the ocean when there is only water for as long as you can see. How do I react when being at sea for several days without any land to the horizon? Well, that is for sure I will find out. How do I work under pressure if the weather is getting hard? I have to take part in sailing the boat, and steer the boat through the night &#8211; we have a shift of 4 hours.\u00a0 How do I deal with being close together with other people in a little space? This is something I have to experience.<\/p><p>I will start my journey as a crew member on S\/Y Aquilla in the Canary Island. From there we will sail to Cape Verde where the last crew member will get on the boat.
