We all have dreams -my dreams are about traveling and adventures. When I was younger I heard a lecture by a danish writer/adventurer Troles Kløvedal. He has spent most of his life sailing around the boat called Nordkaperen. From that second I just felt drawn to sailing around the world and particularly crossing the Atlantic ocean.

We all know that having dreams, and we need to fulfill them. That is why I will be a crew member on S/Y Aquila from the 1. November. I will start my journey at Canairie Island from where we sail to Cape Verde. When the wind and weather are steady we will set sail for Trinidad-Tobago. 

Getting close to departure all these questions comes to mind. How cold will it get at nighttime in the middle of the ocean? Will I be seasick ? How will I cope with being close to people I don’t know for so many days ? All these questions I will not get an answer before being in the middle of it.
